The company SCHMID was founded in the sunny village Göfis at 558 meters above sea level in Vorarlberg.

The company's headquarters include administration, sales and production facilities that consist of five large halls. In order to make use of the good logistical conditions and as creative heads need their place, the construction was moved to Egg in 2010.
